I noted that the owner's manual indicated that NO fuel additives are required in the new engines. Can't remember if my old truck's manual said that but since the Duramax boys had some injector problems allegedly cause by use of some fuel additives, I think I will follow that advice for the time being. Any of the members that are with Cummins care to comment on that one. I don't want to start an additives flaming war, only want to know if any of them could cause a problem with the new common rail system.
