Fuel Additives.. which are the best?

Just wondering, which fuel additives would be the best to use in a 4. 5 HO 600? I tow frequently and would like to help my motor as much as I possibly can! I have been told to not use anything, that the CTD takes care of itself. But also hear great stories about additives and keeping the engine in top shape and increasing MPG. Let me know what you recommend, thanks in advance!

Power Service is my choice. Power Service Diesel Kleen in summer and Power Service Diesel Fuel Additive in winter. Others have different opinions and preferences, and most are valid arguements. I've run Power Service a long time and think it is the best.

Does amagamated still make the DFA for our trucks? Anyone get any recently? I think 5 gallons is the minimum amout. A little pricey with shipping. 50$ + 30$shipping?? My pail just ran out.

I've used Stanadyne Performance Formula for a few thousand miles now and have noticed about a 1/2 mile per gallon increase over the Power Service I was using before. Other than that, I can't tell you which one cleans or lubricates any better.

about 10,000 mile on my truck my mileage went down hill very fast took it to the dealer said i was idling my truck too much injectors were pluged so i run lucas injector cleaner through once every oil change it works well picked up my mileage and doesnt cost very much
