Archived Fuel Anti-Jelling Aditive

In the cold weather on a lot of days my truck either will not run, or will start and run hard due to jelled fuel. I am originally from Northern Minnesota and in the winter we just simply buy #1 on-road. I have not been able to find a place that sells that in Southern Wisconsin, or Northern IL. Does anyone know any additives that are better than most or where I might be able to find #1 diesel. I am very concerned that this might seriously mess up my lift pump, then my injector pump.

PowerService is carried by WalMart in my area. Truck stops often have Howes or others. Both work well as an anti-jell. PowerService has a summer formula also.

I concur on PS, here's the site. (Power Service Products, diesel fuel additives, prevent gelling, clean injectors, disperse water, boost cetane, reduce emissions, improve fuel economy).

I'm here in Southern WI, every place I know has blended fuel (50/50 #1 and #2 mix). That stuff shouldn't gel until it gets pretty cold (-15 F or so). I run PS in my fuel, just for the lubrication and such, I haven't had a single gel problem this year. Last year I gelled once because a station down in central IL sold me straight #2 and I didn't realize it until later.

I got a bad tank a week ago that gelled on me but batphreak is right. Most places around here sell mixed #1 and #2 from november to march or april. They seem to range from 50/50 to 70/30 #1/#2 mix.
