Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) ? fuel been turned up

I have a 97 cummins and was wondering how to tell if the fuel has been turned up on my 12v. If so how do you adjust it back down to factory spec's.

I think mine has been tamper with just not sure.

If they messed with the srews on the back of AFC housing/injection pump it will be hard to tell. On mine there is a tag and wires tied to tag and screws. They mite of reset the high idle screw which would be hard to tell if they did.



But if they used a fuel plate just take off the top of AFC housing and look at the plate if it after market the horse power no. or no. of plate should be stamped on it. You can tell if it has been moved also.
