BE CAREFUL WITH THE FUEL BOXES. I WAS TOLD THERE ARE 3 COMPUTORS ON THE '03 AND NOBODY HAS REALLY FIGURED IT OUT. CUMMINS WON'T RELEASE THE SECRET. THE SYSTEM HAS A LEARNING CURVE. AND WILL RESET THINGS FOR FUELING AND SUCH. I WOULD CALL EDGE TECH OR ANY OTHER COMPANY BEFORE INSTALLING ANYTHING. TBOB

how long is it sposed to take for it to reset. edge has had test boxes on 03s for several months and has not had a prob w/ it reseting back to stock fueling

hope a prob doesnt exist as it is mandatory that i posess a box

whatz it mean if ya type w/ no caps

I have talked to edge obout my 03 thay say it might

act a littile strange. . aney body know what thay mean

gotta get more power... and how does the box feel

is it worth the money. . ??oh ya and what about 235 ca

and 250 elsware how can i get around that ??

You see to read alot of "I heard this and that" about the new computers. But it is all just that "I head" I have read no concrete information on any of it, that is one thing about the net, rumors travel as fast as everything else.

I have the box on my 250 HP and it took it up 60 RWP. At first I had a surging problem under hard load. Since I have erased the adaptive with the OEM scanner (DRB III) the surging went away and it drives great. I looked but couldn't find anything on the scanner that would indicate that there had been a fuel box on the truck.

SO what you are saying is that something in the Cummins computer needs to be changed other then just putting the "Box" on? How do you sneak that past the Dodge dealer

I not sure if that would hold true for every truck as we were doing some other testing on mine around the same time and the combination of the two things might have caused the surging. The dealer can't look at the adaptive learn but they can reset it (battery disconnect via the scanner). I'm going to spend some more time with the scanner on it today to see what else I can see.

Don't want to take up your time but I was wondering if you have any information on how exactly this "adaptive learning" works, what it really does? Enquiring minds what to know... :D

They don't make any reference about the adaptive in the scanner and there is no way I have found to look at it just clear it.

I have had a Quadzilla 65HP box on mine now for 3K miles. I have experienced nothing out of the ordinary... except for more passing power than an 8K truck should have... CJ

EDGE EZ

I PULLED 5ER 15K TODAY WITH EDGE EZ ON #2. RAN WELL AND SO FAR NOTHING ABNORMAL TO REPORT. GETTING ON FREEWAY I PUSHED IT IN 5TH GEAR TO 3000 RPM EGT 1200 DEG F BEFORE TURBO, AND 30 LBS. BOOST, IT LOOKED LIKE THE EGT WAS GOING TO KEEP GOING UP, SO I BACKED OFF. WHEN I HAVE TIME, I WILL INSTALL 4" DOWN PIPE AND 5" FROM THERE BACK, INCLUDING MUFFLER. TBOB
