Oh boy... you will get some response from this...

I have the Blue Box. I have heard nothing bad about the PE since they fixed the initial stumble problem.

I like the Blue Box for several reasons... it is much more adjustable than the PE. You adjust when you want the fueling to start, how much fuel, or you can have it based on boost. I gladly give up the "selectable level on the fly" for this capability.

You ought to have about 30 responses in the next hour...

I'll have to agree with my Blue Box expert Rob Hanson and recommend the BB. It has some great features as he pointed out, You can customize it to your truck un-like the PE with its "pesky" 3 setting approach. JB

Hey Rob, How does the VA w/275's Compare to the Bluebox at the 1800-2200rpm Level. Does the VA w/275's put out more torque at that rpm range?

I don't own the VA... but I doubt it is very close to the Blue Box. The VA does do an important thing, though, which is advance the timing a bit. If you search the archives for Sport Bike, you will find a dyno chart from somewhere around last February that shows what the VA did on the dyno!

I think SportBike still lurks... he just doesn't post much. I agree W. L. , he made some informative posts... I miss him!

Massdiesel, what are you experiencing with the PE? I have a number of boxes on my truck including the PE and Blue Box and on the dyno the PE and BB are producing the same level of horsepower.

We need more info to help you.

HVAC , i looked at it yesterday , he has one programed for use with the VA , i put it on my truck and put mine on his , we ran down the track , to see if it made a difference , i got to the end first , 3 mph slower than before on same setting , same launch , he ran the same ???? had my mirrors folded in so i was unable to make note of smoke . i should have drove his to see if my technique would have netted same time or different than he was getting.
