I need a favor folks. My new Honda Civic has the "no cap" filler and like the trucks, the filler is dusty every time I fill up. It needs a cover!

Could one of you measure the outside diameter of your filler for me? I'm pretty sure they're all the same but just need to make sure before I order the accessory cap from Geno's.

My local Home Depot doesn't have anything in the plumbing dept that even comes close, the biggest rubber cap they had was 1 1/2" which was way too small. All the other caps were hard plastic.

TIA
Greg

Not sure exactly what you are wanting. Hopefully one of these is what you are looking for. The neck has a lip on it - on the OD of it.

OD of cap: - alum cap from Genos.

Ram makes a cap that fits. Part number 82214609.

I used a rubber cap from Home Depot for a while before getting one of these. It is kind of expensive ($18-$20) for a little piece of plastic but I am not one that needs billet stuff and it is less expensive than the billet caps.

Thanks guys, Turns out this filler is completely different. The Diesel has the opening lip to grip the cap. The gassers will have to go over the filler. It's 2 7/8" outside diameter and the 3" rubber plumbing caps are WAY too big and 2" are too small. Guess I have to wait for the aftermarket to catch up.
