Fuel Consumption change

Over the last 50,000 miles I have consistently averaged 18. 5mpg. The last 8000 miles I have dropped to 17. 5mpg. I have not changed any driving habits or trip distances and winter fuel (if it has been used, this is my 3rd winter??) does not seem to have had an effect. Mileage is always computed with actual miles and fuel used.

I don't have an answer for you but my mileage was best from about 20K-30K miles. I avg. between 18. 75-19. 25 during the summer months. This summer it was 18-18. 5 . I now have 47k on the truck. Hope this downward trend doesn't continue!
