Can anyone give me the dodge part# for the fuel control actuator on an 03 5. 9L?

My dodge dealer never heard of this part.

5183245AA. If your dealer tried to order the pump it would have given him a GPOP tech tip stating that the FCA was available.

Yes it is, and at 1/4 the price!! Part # is 4932457, description; actuator, ETR fuel control

Is the FCA year specific or engine specific (like HO/non-HO)???

Or are they one size fits all??

Every time I go to Cummins for something other then filters and such, they always want a serial number and/or CPL # to go along with whatever I'm after. I would think a FCA would be the same for all, but I may be wrong.

That's true... it would be easy enough to have them look it up...

I confirmed that this number DOES NOT SHOW in Cummins database for a 2004. 5 truck... they only show the entire pump as a serviceable unit... no FCA.

So I ordered the Cummins part anyway to see if it will work!!

The pump and FCA never used to be two separate part numbers, but they are now. It took my dealer some digging to find it.

A couple months ago I ordered two. One for dad's '03 and one for my '04. 5. Same part # from Cummins. Can't find the sheet with the number on it, but it's the same one.

BTW, the FCA helped dad's gawd-awful rough high idle for about a week and lessened the surge with the cruise on. Rough idle came back. The new FCA did nothing for my "skip" and rough idle... still working on those.
