Fuel cost versus lube oil cost

Someone help me out. Why does Fuel cost me $1. 75 a gallon and Lube oil cost $1. 75 a quart. WTF.

Wow, where on earth can you find fuel for less than $2 a gallon???



I just ordered up a bunch of Amsoil for my truck today, same price it has been for a long time, not a penny more.

Heck I was paying $1. 36 a gallon not too long ago. jumped to $1. 54 than to 1. 69 now its sky high at $1. 75. Gas is over $2. 00. Guess I should not complain too loud, but still don't understand why Dino cost 4x as much.

Right now we're paying $1. 73-$1. 75 for diesel in the Baltimore, MD area at the Enroys chain. Good fuel, I guess, because you see a lot of commercial trucks filling up there.

Diesel has dropped a little here from $2. 28 to $2. 23, so don't feel bad.



... and, just got a case (12 quarts) of Amsoil gearlube for $90. 00 yesterday... $7. 50 a quart = $30 a gallon... I think I prefer the price of fuel, but even that hurts
