Fuel Delivery Upgrade

I want to upgrade the fuel delivery system by removing all the banjos and stock lines and going to AN type fittings and stainless braided house. I will use -8AN but need to know what to order. Does anybody have a component list to do this? What are the thread sizes at the VP and filter housing?

Any help appreciated.

YOu can either drill and tap the fuel filter housing for your AN fittings. Or I belive PE Products made a fitting the adapts from your fuel filter housing to -8AN line. The fittings are metric 12mmx1. 5. I have used russell fittings which will screw into your injection pump and fuel filter housing. The only problem is, I believe they only go to -6AN line. This was a year or two agao when I built my fuel setup on my old 24 valve, so they may have made ones the adapt to -8AN. I also bought all my lines and fittings through Jegs.

If you don't want to piece one together, Wildcat's Max Flow system works great.



8-AN fittings replace all the banjos, braided hose, and fuel lines included. I used it to plumb up my Holley. Works great.

I just did just that.

5 webber to -6an 12 M X 1. 5 (ear-991944 summit part #)

5 90 degree -6 an hose ends

About 4 foot of hose

for the gauge tap I used

2 straight -6 hose ends

1 -6 to -6 mail with 1/8 npt in hex

1 adapter -4 flare 1/8 npt

It made a huge fuel pressure differnce. If was very worth it. But ran about $150.

I would highly recommend Rod at Wildcat Diesel. He has a good product with his max flow kit. Also he has done all the testing on the system he sells. It has to work right or Rod wont sell it.

A nw bomber just added a fass system today and removed all the same lines and fittings from his truck.
