i used 1qt of diesel clean (grey bottle) for every 5 gal of fuel. i always wondered how kerosene would work. most of the mod guys use high performance diesel fuel $15 a gal i forgot the name of it.

I keep hearing about this high performance diesel fuel. What's the + about this fuel? where can you get it?

Its SRX racing diesel. There are two types, regular and superstock. The superstock has alittle lower btu's but the burn rate is much faster for the higher rpm engines. They are coming out with a new series of fuel thats based on the rpm range that you run your engine. It just has a different burn rate. Haven't got any of it from them yet to try on the engine dyno though. I stock both types of fuel, the regular stuff is $18 a gallon and the superstock is $20 a gallon. Just pm me if you want some details.

I think I remember reading on here somewhere that someone added enough cetane booster that he had a flame out the exhaust. Am I way off here?

Also what do you guys mean running kerosene? Like running it straight or mixed? And what with? What are the pro's n con's of this? Thank

Friends of mine run 2 cycle oil in there big rig puller. It helps lubricate moving parts in the pump in there case an inline 8cly pump (Mack E9)

I also run 2-cycle since our local fuels are now the ULSD just a little added lubrication for the pump.
