A few weeks ago my Dodge Ram dealer installed my AirDog. It seems to me if I remember correctly (my last truck was a Duramax which had a big restrictor in the filler tube and maybe I am remembering that) that before the install, I had some kind of restriction device in the fuel filler tube, which is no longer there. I went back and asked the service manager if he had removed something from the filler tube while doing the install of the AirDog and he just smiled. Now I can fill my tank at the bigtruck pump, and my tank takes full fuel flow from the pump.
So, I was wondering, if I did have some restriction device in the filler tube, which is gone now, why was it there in the first place, and what did it do.
