Fuel Filter Change a Dream

I just replaced my fuel filter the first time and what an improvement over my old 1998 12 Valve. I drained the housing with the water separator valve, unscrewed the top cover and removed the cover and filter from the top in one step. Replaced the filter and screwed the top on. I didn't get any diesel on my hand.



Turned the key on waited 20 seconds while the fuel pump purged the air from the fuel lines and dry filter housing and hit the starter. Three seconds and the engine started and ran like a top. I will not miss my broom handle thru the hood hinge method of bleeding on the 98. I may even run out of fuel on the road just to see how it recovers.

I the past I just keep cranking till it fired up ... . slight pauses to keep from burning up the starter



I have yet to change my FF sence my Pusher ... I hoping it will fill my FF canister and fire right up



They all should have hand primers IMO



A big help if you run out of fuel also
