Well the first fuel filter change seemed to go off without a hitch. We will see in the morning if it starts up right away. The only thing I am wondering about is if everyone changes the o-ring under the brass nut on the canister. I was unable to get the nut off and the o-ring looked fine so I left it alone and just pushed the filter over it. Is this going to cause any problems? Everything seemed like a tight fit. I filled the canister with only about 8 oz of diesel then put the filter in and bolted everything up. I only had to pump it probably 20 times before fuel came out of the bleeder screw. It started up right away and idled slightly rough for about 2-3 seconds then settled down. I did notice that I have an intermitit hissing sound that goes on and off about once a second coming from the drivers side of the engine. Is it possible that I didnt tighen something down tight enough? I dont see or feel any leaks around the canister or anything.

Thanks,

Doug

I tried the cruise control, it still works. I looked around and couldnt find any vacuum hoses off. Would it be possible that it could be leaking air from around the fuel filter or the banjo bolt that I had to loosen to prime it? I did tighten everything up real good but maybe that wasnt enough.
