I drained the fuel filter dry the other day, with the lever drain, in preparation for a filter change. The fuel all drained out readily in about 15 seconds. My puzzle is; How does air get in to replace the drained out fluid. In my mind if there wasn't replacement air the fuel wouldn't drain well at all?
Flooding the filter and relief valve went perfectly all right though. No stumbles on startup.
