Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel Filter housing leak

Fuel oil is collecting on the starter and starter cable. Looks like it's dripping from the filter housing drain line.



Anybody had this problem and what was the fix?

There are a couple of places from the canister that the fuel can leak. The drain valve has a small O-ring in it as well as the water sensor. Over time they can start to leak.

Replace the drain valve. I had one come completely apart creating a huge leak. Spare in the tool box now.
