Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) fuel filter question

Hello All



I changed my fuel filter and while I was manually priming the system I could what sounded like an air leak from the front of the engine. 12 valve. Any ideas if thats normal or could something be loose??

I think the air you are hearing is from the plunger moving on the fuel pump. Did the truck start right up and run good? That air noise is external from the pump. If truck does not run right then perhaps you do have an air leak.

The overflow valve can make a sound. If you actually hear air from the push button on the lift pump you have a problem. No air involved with it.
