Anybody else have this problem? I have a Primeloc fuel filter re-locator and have had 2 filters fail within the last year. It seems to shake the filter so bad that it cracks at the bottom next to the drain valve. I've been running a Napa 3402 filter, they warrentied it both times but i would like to avoid this problem in the future. Any suggestions??

Id guess the filter is taking a real beating from the motor shaking. Maybe you can find some hoses and adapters and relocate it to the fender or firewall?

Im curious what fittings you get with the prime-loc. Does it give you banjos and double-length bolts to pull straight from the old location or does it replace those metal lines also?

RCrocker;

See my readers rigs, and you'll see how I done mine. I cut down the "Roof" shaped bracket, and mounted it in the corner by the hood hinge, left side. It makes the engine a little more accessable, and no viberation to the filter. After checking my self, go to the Frantz filter install, there is a picture there that gives a better view of the mount.

If you are able to find a complete kit, it will, have all the necessary items in it for the install. Adapter, hoses 24" long and fittings. The adapter goes where the filter was placed. No more attacks by the Tazmanian monster that hides in there.
