Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel filter removable

Greeting,I have fuel pump and filter like the fass witch makes the factory filter kind of unnecessary and I would like to remove it but not sure what to do about the sensors any help would be appreciated. TIA

I just unplugged the connectors. Never had any lights or codes show up.

I removed the factory canister when everything on it started leaking. I put dielectric grease in the connectors and zip tied a plastic bag around them to protect them, no codes have popped up.
