Anyone using this socket for the engine fuel filter? https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-14600-...?ie=UTF8&qid=1485931706&sr=8-1&keywords=29+mm
Agree that is weird,I will double check the fit tonight.
What I will say, my filter cap was on very tight (1st change), it took a 1/2 half inch drive socket wrench and as much leverage as I could muster to get it to start turning. I sensed no problem with that socket at all.

It's a M*I*R*A*C*L*E.......looks like we actually agree on my Bridgestone Duravis R500 HD's and how to remove the fuel canister lid......using the same tools. :-lafRyan a good ol 1 1/8" six point socket is what will do the job. If you want the PERFECT fit a 28MM will work. I prefer 1/2" socket with a 1/2" wobbly, long 1/2" extensions to get above cowel and 1/2" ratchet. Works GREAT!!!
Sooooooo, is it 28mm or 29mm? Seems to be some confusion....

Thanks for the input. Looks like I will be ordering this socket with my fuel filters. https://www.amazon.com/Performance-...8&qid=1486013424&sr=1-1&keywords=28+mm+socket
https://www.turbodieselregister.com/threads/255160-Lisle-34900-Water-Sensor-WrenchYES! Do as gsbrockman shows and you will be a happy camper. You should order the Lisle frame mount filter sensor removal wrench at the same time.
