I filled fuel tank, have driven 240 miles and it still reads full!

Sound familiar to anyone? If it does, where should i start looking?

Fill it up again and take a large rubber mallet to the bottom of the tank... my 99 did this all the time... the float simply needs "shook" loose.

You don't need to beat it bad, just enough to wiggle the bottom of the tank...

Thanks - I'm on my way to get a mallet! Have had gage replaced 3 times and always because it would go dead (empty) after filling tank. The dealer service manager told me not to fill it so full (he was serious), and I replied that I thought he was full too!!

Any way, THANKS AGAIN
