Fuel Gage ????

Well I made it last night. I had 620. 4 on that tank when I pulled into the Shell. DingDong just came on when I stopped. I put 29. 007 in which came out to 21. 38mpg I had my doubts about fuel gage since it gave a false reading once and I ran out on the highway and they had to replace sending unit in tank. Seems like I would learn my lesson and not let it get that low. About 45000 and mileage is still improving a little.

When my ding dong goes off and I can get to a fuel pump, it seems to be pretty consistent at the 5-gallons-left point. I only have 15K on the truck and pretty consistent so far. Mileage is another story: 16. 5 best; 14. 0 worst. Averaged about 15 round trip Seattle to Memphis last winter. Probably due to winter fuel. Hope the bombs will improve it a bit.
