Here is fun week. Mon. on the way to work ran out of fuel with an 1/8th tank fuel indicated. Fri ran out with a 1/4 tank fuel indicated. DC sure has a quality ride
And you guys have newer models. How about some of us with older trucks where the gauge has just quit moving completely. I have caught the gauge in my 2000 reading incorrect below the 1/8 mark, that's why I reset and use the trip odometer and compare the miles to where the gauge sits. As long as I refill by 600 miles then I'm fine. My wife's 95 gauge had quit moving completely so I replaced the sending unit.
If I had wanted a truck with a 300 mile range I would have bought an import. They put a fuel gauge in your vehicle for a reason . Since I fuel at work and that is 20 miles away from my jobsite which is in the opposite direction of my home which is 50 miles from the jobsite,
you can see why I don't fuel up every three days. I am definitely the dope for not fueling up when I know I had to be low, irregardless of what the gauge indicated.
My turn to sound like a jerk, what's the "100 gal. fuel cell" in your signature? It seems you should get more than 3 days out of that. Regardless, have the dealer fix it.
