2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Fuel gauge problem

Just wondering if anyone has had problems with there fuel level gauge being wrong I was reading just below and 1/8 and I ran out the gauge used to read down to E and I would still have 4 gallons left. Any ideas

WHEELINTOY i have replaced 3 senders in my truck . there have been lots of problems with them. do a search you will find lots of info. hope that helps . how are things in yuma? im a aircraft engineer in canada an have a usa a& p licence. know of any part time work there this winter?
