Just received my new magazine and noticed an article about fuel tank sending unit replacement. I just replaced mine in about 1/2 hour without any special tools and I hardly got dirty. Didn't have to defuel my tank either. I disconnected the ground wires, removed the bolts that hold the bed onto the frame except for the 2 back ones. I just ran the nuts most of the way off on those. Then I used a nylon tie down strap hooked to the front tie downs in the bed, and an engine hoist to tilt the bed like a dump truck. From that point on it was easy. I used a soft drift to remove and replace the sending unit. "Worked for Me !"
