I just spend 3 hours at a gas station that I coasted into because my gauge said I had a 1/4" of a tank and the truck RAN OUT!
The station didn't sell diesel fuel so I had to hire a taxi to make trips back and forth to a truck stop to get the truck running. It takes a LONG TIME of running the starter for 30 seconds and then let it cool for 5 minutes to get the 24 valve engine running again.
THE TRUCK HAS 45,000 MILES ON IT, WHY CAN'T DODGE MAKE A FUEL GAUGE. THE GAUGE WENT OUT ON MY '95 RAM AT 42,000.
I AM SICK OF THIS!
