Been looking at fuel cells in the catologs. I need to know what resistance range our stock guages work on so I know what cell to get.

TIA

You might want to post up a quick FYI on what a fuel cell actually is. I'm sure there are some folk out there that don't know. :D

Thanks. Just looking out for my fellow members... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Gauge should read 90 ohms at empty, 12 ohms at full mark, 8 ohms or less at full stop

Thanks that's what I needed. Most of the fuel cell's (auxilary fuel tank) have 0 ohm empty and 90 ohms at full (GM). I don't really care if it works backwards I just want some sort of indicator to let me know when to fill up. Sounds like when it hit's the full mark it will be time to put some in.

Bill, The tank didn't break but it smashed in where the sender goes in the top and shattered everything, so neither the tank or sender is any good. Instead of messing with bigger pickup tubes in a stock tank for the a-1000 I'll just put in a bottom feed cell in the bed. Seems easyier to me. Thanks for the offer though.

You aked for GAUGE specs, which is what I gave you. Sending unit is different. Is that what you really wanted?
