fuel guage

Hello all, i noticed the other day that my fuel pressure guage was fluctuating from 9.5 # to a little under 8# after i accellerate from a stop light is this normal or could there be another problem. I have the isspro ev2 guage, the reason i'm asking is i am planing on adding a 2 micron filter before the oem filter the truck is a stock 05

Merv, that sounds pretty normal as far as the pressure fluctuation. I'm curious concerning your placement of the 2-mic filter in the fuel stream though. Typically, you filter from the larger filter medium down to the smaller. About the best you can expect out of the primary is 5 microns when using a Baldwin 7977. You may wish to reconsider and put the 2-mic filter just before the CP-3 and therefore you won't negate the primary.
