Ok. . mine has a leak.

Where can i get a new heater assembly & harness cheaply ??

The local cummins shop wants close to 100 bucks for them.

Here's a quote from a post by the most knowledgable Joe G. :)

Joe G. said:
Fuel heater/pre filter assembly part numbers

Fuel supply line fitting grommet (Cummins) 3923194

Fuel Strainer (Mopar) 04762962 (Cummins) 3847102

screen kit (FleetGuard) 3845400-S

pre-filter O-ring (FleetGuard) 3834185-S

heater element (includes 3834185-S) (FleetGuard) 3907766-S

cable harness (FleetGuard) 3843722-S

These part numbers may be out of date, but if they are Cummins will be able to find current numbers. There may be a couple of variations of this thing so have the CPL and serial number of your engine when you go to Cummins. The gasket (o-ring) above the fuel heater is the same as the one below it on mine. The screen kit contains a O-ring. Just for information you might want to drill out the three rivets that hold the heater together and post some pictures of what it looks like inside.

I ordered mine from a friend at a big truck dealer here in Nashville.

The price does not sounds that out of line. You probably just need the heating element and the harness. Last time I replace them I want to say each was $30-$40.
