Is there any cause for concern that, with the installation of the Prime-Loc remote filter head, the fuel heater is no longer located over the fuel filter head?
With the stock setup, I would think that in cold weather and during warm-up, some of the heat in the fuel was pass into the filter, possibly helping to prevent ice crystals.
Any thoughts or clarification on this?

GLG thats a good question. I have a prime-loc on mine but it never gets that cold in Fla. I think you could have a problem in very cold temps. The fuel heater would heat the fuel as its going to the injection pump but it wouldn't be heating the fuel while its in the fuel filter any more.

Gene, that's what I figured but since I don't don't the reason for the fuel heater being where it is at, I don't know the impact of not moving it when the Prime-Loc was installed.
Anybody know the 'for certain' answer to this question?
