My wiring diagram shows a fuel heater, where is it and how can you tell if it works.

Fuel Heater/pre filter are located drivers side of engine toward firewall and down low( abvout 8" below fuel filter).
If you have wiring diagram I take it you have manual hopefully Dodge's. Look under "Fuel System" for diesels it has every thing you want to know about this baby.
Here some highlights: turns on when fuel temp is below 40 turns off when above 80 degrees. You have wires, fuel heater relay( next to fuel shut off solenioid), fuel heater sensor, fuses, connections, fuel heater,pre filter( could be clogged with white stuff(wax)).
By the way if don't have a Dodge service manual or ones that goes into detail about testing I can e-mail the instructions, looks like pretty easy test. You will need a multi-tester.
