I have a 98. 5 and have been having seal issues with the old fuel filter housing. I bought a new filter housing (the one with the black lid). It is a stock 2000 cannister with wif and heater. I have allready put the vulcan 1/2 inch lines on the truck, and relocated the lp.
My question is will the stock 98. 5 wif plug fit the new housing? And will i need a plug for the heater,or will the old plug in(where the wires that go into the old housing plug into now) fit the housing?
Also will i have enough room beside the injector lines to bolt the new housing to the old mounting location, or should i consider moving the filter location?
I have not got the new housing here yet so i have not had a chance to look at all the differences.
Thanks for any advice.
