at what mileage should the factory fuel injectors need changed in a 2001 3500 5.9 cummins?

Mine has 197,000 and still runs great. I do have some new upgrade injectors but never have time to install them.

I've heard of guys with over a million miles on them. Maintaining excessive EGT's and low fuel lubricity would play a role in how long they last.

I had 229k on mine when I went to RV 275 for the upgrade. The old ones were still good just wanted to bump up a little, am very pleased with the upgrade.
