Have a '98.5 D2500 Quad Cab with about 178,000 miles. How can tell if any fuel injectors need to be replaced? Some mornings feels "sluggish" until the engine warms up so this is a "seat of the pants" diagnosis. Live in Williamsburg Virginia and nearest Cummins shop is about an hour or so away. How difficult to replace the injectors? Know that bleeding the air will take some time if do this in the driveway. If going to do one may as well as do them all. Keep track of fuel consumption and have not noticed any decrease. If replace the injectors, will do the KDP fix also but after 178,000 miles do not think in a rush to do this. Now if taking a long trip, would do the fix.

Is the truck completely stock? Anything done to it? Hows the fuel pressure?
What you described is likely not related to injectors. 178k is nothing for these 2nd gen engines... I'd start with checking for codes, making sure there isnt any electrical problems you're unaware of, and affirming fuel pressures at idle and driving. Your 98.5 needs a code reader to pull codes too.
