Got a fuel leak running down the block behind the vp44. what could be causing this? Is there something i can tighten? Fuel all over the engine, seems to be dripping pretty good:mad:

alright i looked into it a little more cleaned up the area and started the truck. Above the High pressure lines off the pump is were th drip is coming from, can't see exactly were to much crap in the way.

Is there anything above the HP line outputs that could be causing it:confused:

Mine started a week ago, I still can't see exactly where it is coming from. I did find out that there is a "plug" on the block side of the pump that sometimes comes loose until it falls out and then really pours the fuel out. Can't reach / tighten it while it's installed on the truck

I'm going to replace my VP Monday / Tuesday along with a FASS. Good luck

My VP44 was leaking at a Plug just below the Inlet and Fuel tank banjos. We tried to replace the O-Ring, but the Torx screws were too corroded. II replaced the pump under warrenttee :) (The fun started after the pump change, I should have done it myself!!! a Boost Leak, Two lose Injecter lines! ) The O-rings are standard Boch parts.
