bought the 92...thanks all...

Just wondering what will cause a fuel leak on the HP line, right where it goes into the cyl head? How hard is it to fix? I've tried tightening up the line where it goes into the head, but got no movement out of it. If it makes any difference, it's the #3 line that's leaking... . at least it's easier to get to than others... lol. Just wondering if replacing the hard line would help... ... :)

this may not apply to the 2nd Gen 24V engines, but DONT TIGHTEN the lines to fix a leak. The recommended procedure is to shut the engine off, and fully disconnect the line and flwx (dont bend) the line to see if you can see anything blocking the line, or a fleck of crud on the tapered part of the line tip. Put it back together, and see if it leaks. If it still leaks, leave the engine on and loosen and tighten the line. Sometimes this will help reseal the line into the tube.

CAVEAT- I dont know all about the later fuel systems- 1st Gens are my specialty, and I know some about the 12valvers. So, if I left anything out, someone chime in here and correct me.
