Archived fuel leak top of tank small metal elbows rot

Just looked under tk and saw 6 inch puddle. Did some looking and found the 2 metal elbows that come out of the top about 2" long and go to the plastic lines are rotted and leaking. I assume its the return one cause it starts and runs fine but both are rotted bad. Can i remove them and replace with rubber in tank and seal up at opening with some goop

Maybe I am wrong on this, but, Won't that assembly basically just kinda unscrew from the tank, thus allowing you to eplace it and be good to go for another , oh say 10 years?

someone on tdr has a fix for this. try search for fuel tank module.

Got a nice big 7 inch hole cut in the bed floor and have the tank module on the bench. what a piece of crap. its worn thru from the sender wiresrubbing into the coilie pipes and and the lines are rotted off at the top. im going to dodge in am to get a new whole assembly i guess. This is going to cost plenty i think. does any one have the proper part #
