fuel leak

i have a fuel leak from what i think is the fuel shut off seloined one end has an electric conn the other a plug and a 1/4 in fuel line in the middle it is located on the bottom of the pump the fuel line goes to the top of the pump its a 93 ,its leaking from the plug end .

KSB solenoid

It sounds like you are describing the KSB solenoid. Unplug the electrical connection and try to start your truck, if it starts its not the fuel shut off.

Depending on where the leak is you may be able to repair? If not reparable it's easy to replace, no need to bleed air out of system.

I took the plug out and the O ring was hardened . replaced the O ring and the leak stoped.

Hey Bud, There are two (2) o-rings in there. Just repaired mine in June, 07. There is a thread I started with the Schematics for the KSB, entitled KSB Fuel Leak. Check it out. Glad you got the leak fixed. GregH
