Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel leak

A friend/co-worker has a 99 CTD, QC, 4WD, 5spd. It hsa a fuel leak some where around the VP44. I have not looked at the truck yet, but he says that its wet around that area. Any ideas where to look?

I would start looking around the banjo bolts. Possibly tighten them a little. Then I'd start to look at the injection lines. Tighten a little if need be. After that, you're looking at major pump work or replacement. Good luck.

Check the fuel return-line.

Mine started leaking with less than 20k on the clock and had to be replaced.
