Attention: TDR Forum Junkies While cleaning pin tar mud off my truck from Turkey Hunting, a very sticky job, I found a fuel leak from the high pressure out connection at the CR Pump. Looks like its right from the union nut and not the line itself.
When installing fuel lines, does anyone know should the threads be wrapped in teflon or anything? Or just tourque them down.
This is a warranty issue, but taking my truck to the local dealer usually results in more problems caused than solved. Does anyone have the shop manual so I can get a part number for the high pressure CR pump to rail fuel line and fittings assembly? I need to get the manual for mine.
The leak is enough to see a good sized drop on your finger after a mile or so run down the road, but none at idle.
