Fuel is leaking at the fitting on the #3 injector line at the pump. I found hold down clamp missing (the first one that line goes to) and I guess the

vibration may have cracked that line.

How hard are they to replace and where can I get one? I need the truck running this weekend.

Help, Thanks,

Ron

I would try Cummins...

you can probably get it from them and a lot cheaper than Dodge. I don't know how hard they are to change. Good Luck!

I don't know where you are located, but I do business with Cummins Souther Plains in Houston TX. Very knowledgable and willing to help. I have had real good luck with them having what I needed when I needed it and getting it shipped to my door. Here is there phone number: (713) 679-2220.

If the high pressure fuel line is cracked, it will have to be replaced. If it is what I think is broke, you will have to buy the first three lines. I do not believe they are sold seperately, but they might be. Check with Cummins, they should be less expensive than MOPAR.

Changing the lines is entirely that difficult, all you need a couple of wrenches. Changing the back three is a bit more difficult. You will have to remove the induction elbow and unbolt the apps unit. A couple of straps and they are out.

Have fun, it is do-able in about 1 hour.

Just DO NOT check for leaks with your hands!

THANKS, everyone!!!. I found the #3 line at the local Freightliner dealer, as well as the little blue clamps and bolts needed. And RGilbert you are right, it took about 1 hr.

Thanks, again, ron...
