Fuel line drooling/dribbling-Need part number help?

Changing fuel filters tonight & came across this drooling/dribbling fuel line. Right where the blue marks are where the hard line joins the rubber line. The line is the one that goes into the rear of the block mounted fuel filter. My first though was to put a hose clamp on it, but I can't tell if the hard line is plastic or metal. Found the sticker below on the line and I can't find ANYTHING online with that part number. I wasn't really at a place (at the firehouse tonight) where I could try to pull it apart and try to reseat the lines if that's even possible. Anyone have any insight?
Thanks!

The hard line is metal. I know because I recently installed a frame filter and had to cut it. I was in that general area when I was trying to detach the fuel line to get some slack for cutting it. My impression was that the rubber hose was not the actual fuel line, but was simply a sleeve to protect the fuel line from rubbing. Under the rubber there's a plastic line. This is done to allow some compliance between the engine and the metal fuel line.

Before spending too much time, I would ensure that the seeping is not actually coming from fuel (or some other fluid for that matter) trapped between the rubber sleeve and the plastic fuel line. Perhaps a good cleaning in the first step. Also try to spray some cleaner between the rubber sleeve and the plastic tube to remove any other fluid.

It could have been diesel from a fuel change that has made its way through...

Again, I admit I didn't spend too much time with it, but that's my recollection...

That would actually make sense. I just finished a fuel filter change and some did spill down the back of the filter housing. I'll give it a few days and see what happens.
Thanks for the heads up! You may have just saved me some cash & a lot of headache!!

Agreed.....well, one kind of brake cleaner is. I don't recall if it is the chlorinated or non-chlorinated...but yes, one of them makes plastic brittle and come apart if it stays in contact long enough. Chrysler had a TSB about this a decade or so ago......and I found out the hard way.
