Fuel Line Failure

I just had the fuel line between the common rail and number 4 injector fail. Fuel everywhere. Not pretty. Has any one else had this problem? I wonder how common this failure is.

I just got finished replacing # 4 Injector line on a 2005 2500 4x4.

The truck has 101,000 miles and a pressure box on it for the last 80,000.

The line was cut in half right at the 19 mm nut closet to the engine.

The truck is all fixed. The line leaked at the fitting next to the common rail. It appears the seal went bad. The truck had 56,000 miles and is completely stock. The mechanic said, for whatever it is worth, that he has seen three failures on the the number four line in the last couple of months. The Dodge agency is in Laughlin NV and they did a great job getting the truck fixed and out the door. Very pleased.
