<font color=blue>Howcome we just deep six the 90* banjo at the inlet into the lift pump and convert to -6 Straight / Barbed fitting? (was this asked allready?) After the trans this is the next attack!

Several people have already done it. It requires a Weber carb adapter (12mm x 1. 5 pitch) to mate the -06 fittings to the pumps and filter housing.

I just tapped the fuel pump and filter housing to 1/4 NPT and put on a 1/4 NPT 90 with a push-lock. Now the truck runs even better. I replaced all of the fuel lines to 3/8 and it made a HUGE difference. Now I really need a new clutch.

i am a bit confused on your question ? will you be using the stock line/pickup ?

i just sawed off the banjo and put a compression fitting on the line so i could keep the factory disconnect ... for now ...

Mopar-muscle, What I meant was to elimenate the 90 degree banjo fitting on the inlet side of the lift pump, couldn't you intsall a straight style fitting being the other lines are being replaced anyways? I figured the less restriction the better.

yes , that is the intention , i do have a 90 on mine right now , did it to keep the stock line for my series of tests i did not want to cobble up the factory line ... yet . . , you will at some point need to move a pump back in front of the tank , the stock location is to far from the tank .

B. T. W does the "aux" port have provisions for a threaded coupling or is it a clamp/barbed thang going on there? I was thinking of having the stock system in place and somehow being able to run another set of lines and betweenthe "stock pump location" and the injection pump have a tee line in place with a ball shutoff valve of sorts ready to go so when the stocker dies the ball valve gets a quick twist of the hand and a switch thrown so that the spare pump can be run without having to pump "thru" the dead stocker and both systems work independantly.

I am sure I did not think of this by my self maybee i heard you talkin' at the bar or read it within the TDR but after drawing it on notebook paper it has to work.

exactly how i want to do it tim , except use the stock pickup point .

the aux port is a straight up barb , you would have to connect to it and clamp the line as to avoid sucking air .

keep this in the wings , new testing is on the horizion , the thinking has been wrong , i'm going to bring back to the top a topic about the prime lock problem , the answers are all in there and i never read it as i didn't have a prime lock .
