After reading a number of post, I see that a large number of people are replacing the rubber factory fuel lines on there rigs. My question is this, does this need to be done and why if there not leaking or sucking air. Do they typically go bad after a certian milage or hours of use? thanks,

The biggest killer of rubber fuel or any rubber line is exposure to heat. Will cause dryrotting. Some lines will come apart on the inside and cause what is known as a flapper, causing a restriction, but you won't see it. To me it is good practice to replace the lines after so long to prevent unseen problems. Just my thoughts on the matter.
