Hi,

I need to replace the return flexible lines on my fuel system and any other rubber line that can cause hard starting problems, as this is the only thing left to check on my hard starting problem.

I was wondering if anyone could supply me with the sizes of the hosing I need and the lengths. Also the type hose. I'm going to get the parts from the local freightliner dealership where I get my fleetguard filters. That way when I start on this, I won't have to stop halfway through and go get parts. Since I don't have a place to store the truck while working on it, I have to finish the things I start (i. e. I live in an apartment complex)

Thankx!

Two feet each of 3/8 and 5/16 is plenty for the return and intake lines underneath, don't know about the others. Make sure the hose is rated for diesel. I prefer the marine grade fireproof, don't know of a truck shop will have it but a boat shop will.

Thanks for the info. I will check around town for a marine shop. I haven't lived here very long and don't know much of the town.

I'm actually having a hard time finding this stuff.

I was able to find some 3/8" Dayco fuel line hose. No marine supplies around here know what I'm asking for, as there really isn't a lot of water around here in Middle Georgia.

Hrm ok. I'll see if I can find the dealership here. Didn't think of that.
