I'm currently installing a fuel system on a cummins from tank forward . For specific reasons I'm installing stainless steel lines , and I want to make sure I buy the right size . Currently stock , but want to have enough fuel flow for whater might come . I see the boys with the mods going with what they call 1/2" lines . Is this 1/2" the ID or OD ?

thx a bunch

I understand the stainless sizes , I'm wondering when I see people say they run 1/2" fuel lines(which I assume would normally be steel?) is 1/2" refering to OD or ID?

If you run steel lines, keep them flat against the frame a much as possible. Then you will help keep the fuel cool as the frame would act as a big heat sink.
