My fuel lines were not leaking but were replaced along with the idle being put up to it's proper 950 rpm . They had dry rot and were sucking air . lThe truck runs so much stronger. Had it done at Southeast Power (Cummins Daytona) along with the tab procedure. What a super shop!

Doing research.

Wich lines did ya replace? Usually the fuel return line is the problem. I'm Thinking some day I'll replace the rubber fuel lines.

I have this problem with low rpm rough running. Between 900 to 1200 rpm. Seems to run smoother above 1200 rpm.

Was your truck running rough all through the rpm band. Or was it at certain rpm that it ran rough?

That sounds like the way mine was running. I had raised the idle twice , but it seemed to keep creeping down. It would stall out every once in awhile, and was getting more frequent.

I kept checking them , but they never did get wet.

It really did wake the truck up!

The transmission is back to slamming the gears and it has to be related to the fuel lines ond/or TPS.
