fuel master...snake oil???

This is a magnet thingy that attaches to the fuel line. It's supposed to work on gasoline or diesel engines. The web site makes enthusiastic claims about improving fuel economy and reducing emissions. Does anyone have experience, good or bad, with these devices? Thanks.

You should have seen the answers I got when asking about those magnets a few years ago. Think about it, if they worked wouldn't all the car manufacturers install them as a stock item?

Don't know about those, but I have been doing some exp. with ficht fuel catalysts in my sleds. They have definately gained a little.



I'm doing a comparison in large mason jars with treated and untreated fuel, the treated stuff smells a lot less potent. Whatever it did, it did something, I'll know how the color holds over time too.



Our fuel sucks here, I had to try it.

Used to have a '82 Ford F-250 w/ 400 V8. Tried one for the heck of it. Believe it or not, I acually gained back the 1mpg. that I lost when I put on 33" tires and a gooseneck hitch. That was a nice surprise. Didn't do anything for the 6. 9L in my '86.
